| Directions |
- Using covered enameled roasting pan or Dutch oven add chopped onion, celery, potatoes, beef broth, beef, oil, flour, water, salt, and pepper.
- Place in oven at 350. for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
- Then add the carrots, lima beans, white onions, corn, and apple juice. Place back in the oven for about 30 to 40 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
- When done, add additional flour or water to thicken or dilute as needed before serving.
- Serve with hot buttered biscuits or cornmeal muffins. Serves 4 to 6.
Note: You can substitute wine with the apple juice. |
