| Directions |
- Shred a medium size head of cabbage in a large bowl.
- Slice the whole onion over the cabbage.
- Toss lightly.
- Pour 7/8 C. sugar over all of the mixture.
- In a saucepan mix vinegar, salad oil, 2 Tablespoons sugar, salt, powdered mustard, and celery seed. Bring to a boil. Pour over cabbage and onions.
- Let set overnight.
It will keep 2 weeks in the fridge. |
