| Directions | Cream butter and sugar at room temperature. Add 1 egg yolk and stir real good. Add flour and also stir well. Add vanilla and other cup of flour. The batter will be very stiff. Pat dough on 2 cookie sheets. Beat egg white until frothy. Use rubber spatula and spread over batter. Sprinkle nuts all over and press into dough. Bake at 275 for 1 hour or less. Take out of over and slice while hot. |
