| Directions |
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray bottom of a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with Pam.
- Place a layer of potatoes and sprinkle with 1/3 of cheese, chili powder and red pepper flakes.
- Season with salt and pepper. (Can put chili powder and red pepper flakes on each layer - adjust if needed).
- Repeat layering two more times, leaving grated cheese off top layer.
- Pour the half and half over layered potatoes.
- Place uncovered dish in oven and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven. Sprinkle reserved 1/2 cup cheddar cheese over mixture and return to oven. Bake an additional 20 minutes.
