| Directions | - Beat the sugar and butter until creamy.
- Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
- Sift together the dry ingredients; then add this mixture to the creamed mixture and blend well.
- Chill the dough 30 minutes; then roll and cut as desired.
- Bake at 350ºF for 10 to 12 minutes on an ungreased cookie sheet. Remove immediately to cool on racks.
