| Directions | - Sift together the dry ingredients except the sugar and set aside.
- Combine the sugar, eggs, vanilla, and butter until well blended; then add the dry ingredients to this mixture and blend well. Chill dough overnight.
- Roll out the dough 1/8-inch thick on a floured surface. Cut out the desired shape with a floured cookie cutter, sprinkle with sugar, and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375ºF on for about 10 minutes; then frost the cookies when cool.
