| Directions |
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Combine the cake mix, the 1/2 cup of melted margarine, and the egg. Pour the batter into a 9x13-inch pan and bake 12-15 minutes.
- Place the marshmallows on top of the baked cake layer and return to the oven until the marshmallows puff up.
- In a saucepan, combine the corn syrup, the other 1/2 cup of margarine (not pre-melted), vanilla extract, and peanut butter chips. Melt over medium heat; then pour the mixture over the puffed marshmallows.
- Sprinkle on the peanuts and press lightly into the syrup mixture. Refrigerate before slicing.
