| Directions | - Cream together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, and peanut butter.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg and stir in the vanilla and baking soda. Mix this into the creamed mixture.
- Stir in the flour; then stir in the oatmeal.
- Place in a buttered and floured 9x13-inch baking pan. Bake at 350ºF for 20-25 minutes; cool.
- For frosting, combine powdered sugar, peanut butter, and half and half. The mixture will be thick. Thin it with additional half and half until desired consistency.
- Frost the cooled bars, if desired, and serve.
