| Directions |
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Cream one-third of the butter with all of the sugar.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
- Stir in the flour, vanilla, and chocolate syrup.
- Bake in an ungreased 10- x 15-inch pan for 20-30 minutes. Cool.
- Melt another third of the butter. Combine with the powdered sugar and Crème de Menthe. Spread over the first layer. Chill until firm.
- Melt the remaining third of the butter with the chocolate chips; spread over the top. Cut into bars before the top layer cools completely.
- Store in a cool place.
