| Directions |
- Drain, pitted maraschino cherries and lay on paper towels.
- Blend together the butter, powdered sugar, and sweetened condensed milk.
- Dip each cherry in mixture and place on cookie sheets lined with waxed paper.
- Set in freezer a minimum of 15 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate chips, and 1/4 - 1/2 bar of paraffin together over low heat.
- Remove cherries a few at a time from the freezer and dip them in the chocolate mixture and set on wax paper or parchment paper to cool.
- Tips: Skewers work well for dipping. Coating the paper with a little butter keeps the cherries from sticking to the paper and each other, and makes for easy storing when you are done. Assembly lines of family and friends works great.
