| Directions |
- Mix apples and sugar in a bowl.
- Set aside for 20 minutes.
- Sift flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon together.
- In another bowl, beat eggs, vanilla, and oil. Mix until light and fluffy.
- Add flour mixture and apple mixture; alternating to egg mixture.
- Beat well after each addition.
- Stir in walnuts.
- Pour into a greased 9" X 13 " pan.
- Bake at 350° F for 50-60 minutes or until cake tester is removed clean.
- For the frosting, cream the butter, cream cheese, milk, and powdered sugar together.
- Stir in pecans.
- Spread over cooled cake.
