| Directions | In large bowl, beat shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, beating well. Stir together all off the dry ingredients and slowly add to the shortening mixture and mix well. Stir in mincemeat and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet 2-inches apart. Bake at 300° for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. |
