| Directions | Combine cocoa, coffee, 1 T. water and bananas in a large bowl and mix until smooth. Add sugars, eggs, vanilla, and mix well. Add oat bran, flour and salt; stir to blend. Add nuts. Spray a 9x13" baking pan with nonstick spray and spread brownie mixture in the pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Cool in pan. To make the icing, sift cocoa and sugar together, mixing well. Add vanilla and 1 T. milk or coffee. Stir to blend. Add enough extra liquid to make the icing spreading consistency, stirring well. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut into squares. Makes about 24 brownies. |
