| Directions | Cream butter or margarine in mixer on medium speed. Add sugar, gradually creaming until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract until light and fluffy. Mix in flour and salt and blend to make a stiff dough. Chill 2 - 3 hours. Roll out a small amount of dough to 1/8 inch thickness on floured board. Use lightly floured cookie cutters to cut out cookie shapes. Place cookies on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely. Frost with your favorite frosting. |
