| Directions | Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sugar and egg. Beat until smooth. Spread into cooked pie crust. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. In another mixing bowl, combine pumpkin, brown sugar and spice. Stir in 4 eggs. Gradually add half-and-half. Slowly pour pumpkin mixture over chocolate layer. To prevent crust from getting too brown, cover edge with foil. Bake 55-60 minutes or until pie is set. Remove foil and cool on wire rack. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. |
