| Directions | Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Stir in milk and raisins. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into creamed mixture, blending well. Chill 1 hour. Roll chilled dough on lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut dough into circular shapes with plastic coffee can lid. Sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in 375° oven for 10 minutes. Makes 14 big, soft sugar cookies. |
