| Directions | Cream sugar and lard. Add sour cream and eggs. Sift with flour, baking soda, nutmeg, and salt. Add to sour cream mix. Chill one hour. Roll out, 3/8 inch thick, on floured surface. Cut with cookie cutter. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Sprinkle cookies with mixture of equal parts sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 325° for 10-12 minutes. Do not over bake. |
