| Directions | In large bowl combine margarine, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, water and vanilla; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. By hand stir in flour, soda, and salt mix well. Chill at least 2 hours. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Enclose each wafer in about 1 scant tablespoon of dough. Place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Top each with a walnut half. Bake at 375 for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 48 cookies. |
