| Directions | Cream shortening and sugar. Add slightly beaten eggs and dry ingredients. Refrigerate. Cook filling until dates are soft and mixture thick. Take a large scoop of dough, roll thin, cut 3 in circles, put on a dab of dates, fold cookie of filling and seal. Bake at 350° for 12 min. |
