| Directions | Brown hamburger, drain and set aside. Saute vegetables in 1 tbsp of butter, with basil and parsley, until tender. Combine in crockpot; beef, chicken broth, vegetables and potatoes. Cook on high 3-4 hours. In the 3rd hour mix flour and melted butter (3 tbsp), add this mixture to the items in the crockpot to thicken. (If you do not want to do this, you can wait until the end and thicken with potato buds.) Reduce heat to low, add cheese, milk, salt and pepper. Cook until the cheese is melted. If you have not already thickened with the flour mixture, add the potato buds now. Remove from heat and blend in the sour cream. |
