Directions
Prehet oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.

Mix together sugar, oil and eggs.

Sift together flour with salt, soda and cinnamon.

Combine dry ingredients with sugar mixture.

Fold in carrots. Stir in nuts, if desired.

Pour into prepared pan.

Bake for 40 minutes; cool completely.

For the frosting, mix together ingredients until smooth; spread over cooled cake.
