| Directions | - Preheat oven to 350° F.
- In large mixing bowl, place pears. Sprinkle over the vanilla, 1/2 juiced lemon, grated and peeled ginger, allspice, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon. Toss to coat the pears. Place round side up in buttered, sugared baking dish.
- In same bowl, using a fork, mix the butter, brown sugar, flour, salt and oatmeal. Sprinkle cranberries over pears then the oatmeal mixture. May want to top with a few extra cranberries.
- Bake until topping is crunchy and browned; approximately 35-40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
