| Directions | - Bring large pot of water to a boil, cook pasta according to package directions.
- Place pasta in a large bowl. Add minced garlic, 2 tbsp. olive oil, salt, pepper, and 1/2 lemon zest from whole lemon. Toss to combine. Keep warm while cooking salmon.
- In sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon oil over medium/high heat; add the crushed garlic.
- Place salmon fillets, skin side down, in oil. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until bottom of salmon is cooked.
- Turn broiler on low. Drizzle 1/2 of the lemon juice over salmon; season with salt and pepper.
- Place sauté pan under broiler. Broil 5-10 minutes. Broil just until salmon flakes easily and lightly browned on top. Remove from the oven.
- Add the spinach and basil to the pasta and toss to mix in evenly. Place the pasta mixture on a large platter and spread out evenly.
- With a spatula, remove fillets from the pan and place on top of the pasta. Garnish with green onions, capers and lemon zest.
