 | Directions |
- Brown the sausage in a small skillet, drain on a paper towel to remove excess grease.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until tender, stirring occasionally.
- Add the bell pepper and cooked rice, stir to combine.
- Add in the broth, tomatoes, salt, oregano and black pepper.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat back to medium and cook for approximately 15 minutes.
- Add the sausage, turkey and peas.
- Cook for five more minutes and serve hot with a crusty French bread.
