In a skillet, brown ground beef until no longer pink; drain. Add taco seasoning and water according to package directions. Prepare toppings for tacos. For fry bread, sift flour, backing powder and salt. Combine milk with dry ingredients. Knead well with extra flour. Divide into 6 portions. Roll 1/8" thick rounds. Fry in 1/4" hot oil, turning so that each side cooks. Bread will puff out. Top each fry bread with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. |
