| Directions | - In large bowl, combine chopped apples, lemon juice, chopped walnuts, and raisins. Stir all ingredients together.
- Add ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, sugar and wine or grape juice.
Mix together.
- Cover and refrigerate to chill for 6 to 8 hours prior to serving.
- Makes approximately 4 cups.
- Note: Select apples such as Gala, Fuji or Braeburn. Red wines such as Malaga, Concord grape, ruby port or similar semi-sweet to sweet varieties can be selected. As a non-alcohol option, use white grape juice.
