| Directions | Heat milk and cool. Add yeast and sugar to dissolve. add beaten eggs, butter, salt, and flour. Beat till smooth, let rise. Beat down again. Let rise. Spoon onto cookie sheets. Can use teaspoon or soup spoon depending on how bi you want the kolaches. Make a hole in center of each one and fill with cherry pie filling or whatever filling you like. Let rise again. Bake 375° for 15 minutes. Frost with powdered sugar frosting. Makes 20. They freeze well too. Might want to double for large family or to freeze some. |
