| Directions |
- Cut baguette on the diagonal 1/4 inch thick.
- Lay in single layer on a baking sheet.
- Bake until golden, approximately 15 minutes, flip and bake 10 more minutes. Set aside.
- Place goat cheese in mixing bowl, mash with a fork.
- Add 1 tablespoon of cream at a time until you have a soft consistency spread.
- Mix in salt, shallot and 1 tablespoon of capers.
- When ready to serve, spread cheese mixture on each baguette toast and top with a light sprinkle of capers.
- Serve at room temperature.
- Spread may be made up to three days in advance. Keep covered in the refrigerator.
- Store baguettes in an airtight containter until ready to use.
