| Directions |
- In a wide pan (to speed reduction), boil onion, garlic, and wine until liquid is almost gone. Add stock and boil down to about 1/2 cup. Remove from heat, add cheese, and stir until sauce is smooth. Taste for seasoning.
- Shape meat into 4 patties. Salt very lightly, since the sauce is quite salty. Grill or pan-broil the burgers. Serve hot with sauce spooned over.
