| Directions | Dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast into water. When yeast looks bubbly and is dissolved, add soften shortening. Add salt and flour. Mix together and knead. Let rise until double. Roll out and shape into loaves. Let rise. Bake at 350° for 25 min. |
