| Directions |
- Clean morels, if necessary, by cutting them in half lengthwise and brushing or rinsing any grit or bugs out. Drain. If morels are large, cut into strips.
- In a small saucepan or skillet, simmer onions with salt and cream until soft, about 5 minutes. Add morels and continue to simmer, covered, until the morels are tender, about 10 minutes. Add a few grinds of fresh pepper and taste for seasoning.
