| Directions | If using prepared pizza crusts, follow baking instruction on package. If using your own homemade dough, Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Drizzle olive oil on prepared crust with either method of cooking. For sauce, in a medium bowl, combine crushed tomatoes, snipped basil, garlic, and tomato paste. Spread a thin layer of sauce on pizza crust. Bake for 15 minutes in oven. Remove pizza and place mozzarella and sliced tomatoes in a single layer on top of the sauce. Bake for 10-13 minutes more or until crust bottom is crisp and brown. Top with basil leaves. Cut into slices and serve immediately. |
