Cut peppers in half and scrape out the insides. The seeds and veins are what make them hot so make sure you get them all off. Brown sausage in skillet. Drain and stir in cream cheese and 1/2 of Parmesan cheese. Simmer over low heat until melted and mixed well. Spoon mixture into each pepper. Place on a cookie sheet and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top of the peppers. Bake at 350° for 30-45 minutes until peppers start to look shriveled. |
