| Directions |
- Preheat oven to 350° F. Lightly spray baking dish with non stick spray.
- In a large bowl, mash the sweet potatoes and bananas. Add cinnamon and salt and mash until mixed well. Spread evenly in prepared baking dish. Cover potato mixture with a layer of brown sugar.
- In a small bowl, mix crushed cereal, nuts and butter together. Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over casserole.
- Bake uncovered 45 minutes.
Optional additions: 2 tablespoons bourbon, or 1 teaspoon vanilla, or 2 to 3 tablespoons fresh orange juice. |
