| Directions |
- In a medium saucepan, dissolve sugar in water. Add cinnamon sticks and grated orange peel. Bring drink mixture to a boil. Add cranberries; continue to cook until the fresh cranberries begin to pop. Remove cinnamon sticks. Add 1/2 cup of rum.
- Refrigerate mixture in a glass jar for a minimum of 1 hour. Strain cranberry mixture.
- Add remaining ingredients, stir and chill. Fill a margarita glass with crushed ice. Pour chilled crantini mixture over crushed ice.
- Garnish with cranberries and an orange slice if desired.
