- In a skillet, over medium heat, add onions, celery, green pepper and garlic. Crumble the ground beef on top of the vegetable mixture.
- When ground meat is brown and vegetables are tender, drain mixture in a colander. Return mixture to skillet.
- In a separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients together and then combine with meat mixture. Mix well.
- Continue to simmer for 40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Serve on burger buns.
