| Directions |
- Combine all the ingredients in a saucepan except for the baking soda.
- Cook over medium-high heat until mixture is simmering.
- Once the syrup is simmering, add the baking soda and cook for 10 more seconds. Then remove from the heat.
- Serve while warm over pancakes or waffles.
Note: Be sure to only bring the syrup to a simmer because the milk will curdle if cooked to hot. If syrup curdles, try whisking to smooth out. |
