| Directions |
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Whisk to mix dry ingredients together.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg and melted butter in with the buttermilk.
- Add the dry ingredients in with the buttermilk mixture and whisk until the mixture is no longer lumpy.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray before pouring pancake batter into the skillet.
- Add 1/4 cup of batter to the skillet for each pancake you are making. Do not overcrowd the pancakes. Cook until batter is bubbly on the surface.
- Flip the pancakes over and cook until browned on the other side.
- Serve while warm with your favorite pancake topping.
