- Prepare the popcorn and pour 8 cups into a large mixing bowl.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan on the stove over medium heat. Once it is melted, add the marshmallows; stir until just melted.
- Pour over the popcorn and stir until evenly coated.
- Add the pretzels and decorative candies; stir to distribute evenly. Work quickly as to prevent popcorn from setting up before you are done working with it.
- Pour the mixture into a serving bowl or onto a plate. With slightly buttered hands, form the popcorn mixture into a mound or ball shape. Apply slight pressure as you are forming the ball to firm it up.
- Allow it to set for a little while to allow it to cool and firm up. Then pull sections off to eat it or use a spoon to aide in removing pieces of it.
