| Directions |
- Preheat the oven to 350° F. Grease the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking pan.
- Cut rhubarb into 3/8 to 1/2 inch pieces and place in the bottom of the prepared 9 x 13 pan.
- Sprinkle the sugar evenly over the rhubarb. Sprinkle gelatin over the layer of sugar and the dry cake mix over the sugar evenly.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Drizzle water evenly over the top of all the ingredients. Try to at least dampen all the dry mix.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 50 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned on top.
- Allow to cool at least slightly before serving. It can be served warm or cool with a little whipped topping, if desired.
