| Directions |
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Cream together the butter and 1 1/4 cups of sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg yolks, 1 tbsp. of honey and the vanilla; beat until well mixed.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, and cream of tartar. Gradually add to the creamed mixture; beat until well mixed.
- Combine the cinnamon and 1/2 cup of sugar; stir until mixed and set aside.
- Take a heaping tablespoonful of dough and roll into a 6-inch long log. Roll the log in the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- Coil the log into a spiral shaped cookie and place on a lightly greased cookie sheet or on parchment paper. Repeat to fill the cookie sheet, placing cookies about one inch apart.
- Sprinkle the cookies with extra cinnamon and sugar.
- Place in preheated oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until firm. Cool on a wire rack.
- Melt the white chocolate and then add 1 tsp. of honey; stir until smooth and drizzle over the cookies.
- Allow cookies to stand until the white chocolate is set. Store in covered container.
