| Directions |
- Drain tuna well and spread out on two slices of the bread.
- Layer the sandwich with avocado slices, red peppers, and slices of pepper jack cheese.
- Top the sandwiches with the other slices of bread.
- Thoroughly butter the top of each sandwich and then carefully place them in a preheated frying pan or grill pan.
- Thoroughly butter the second side of the sandwich once you have it in the pan. Cook until the first side is nicely browned.
- Carefully turn the sandwich over and cook until the second side is nicely browned.
- Remove from the pan and slice sandwich in half. If desired add some lettuce to the sandwich.
- Serve warm.
