Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the egg white in a small bowl and beat gently. Step#2 Unroll each breadstick and cut each into pieces about 1-1 1/2" long. Step#3 Form each piece into the shape of a stubby toe, rounding the edges as desired. Place toes on the prepared baking sheet. Using kitchen shears, snip the dough gently in a few places where the knuckle will be. Step#4 Break the almonds in half crosswise and place each half near one end of each toe, broken edge facing out for the toe nails. Press them into the dough so they stay in place while they bake. Step#5 Brush each toe with egg white and bake for 13 to 14 minutes or until done. For added grossness, serve with Toe Jam Dip recipe on the site! Dip your toes (eh, dough toes, that is) right into this dip or use a knife... either way, it's gonna be gross! Makes about 64 unmanicured toes. |
