Directions
Cook the asparagus in salted simmering water for 6-10 minutes (depending on size) until al dente slightly tender. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat and add the garlic, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until lightly browned. Once asparagus is tender, remove from water and drain, then transfer to a mixing bowl. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the asparagus and toss with the garlic butter. Serve immediately. Yields 4 servings.
