| Directions | Preheat oven to 350°. Using a heavy skillet, sauté the onions, mushrooms and barley in the butter until the barley is light brown. Place the barley mixture into a casserole. Heat the consommé until it boils, then add it to the casserole dish. Cover and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. |
