| Directions | Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, place chopped cauliflower. Cover cauliflower with water, cover and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, until tender but crisp. Drain cauliflower and set aside. In a medium shallow bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika and pepper. In a separate bowl, place crushed cornflakes. In a small bowl, place egg whites. Lightly beat egg whites. Toss cauliflower pieces in flour mixture and then dip in egg whites. Roll cauliflower pieces in crushed cornflakes. Place cauliflower pieces on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake in oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until golden brown. Serve immediately. Makes 6 to 8 servings. |
