| Directions | Cook pasta according to directions on package. Meanwhile, melt butter in medium saucepan. Add garlic and cook over low heat for 1 minute or until fragrant. Whisk in flour, then slowly whisk in half-and-half until well combined. Whisk in salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Bring to a boil, whisking frequently. Reduce heat and simmer 5 min. or until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in cheese until melted. Drain pasta. Spoon sauce over or add to pasta in pot and toss to mix and coat. |
