Melt butter in skillet and saute onion, celery, parsley and mushrooms.
Pour over bread cubes in large mixing bowl. Add all seasoning and stir well. Pour in broth to moisten. Add beaten eggs and mix well. Pack lightly into crock pot.
Cover and cook on high for 45 minutes; then reduce to low for 4-6 hours.
NOTE: If using seasoned stuffing mix, use 4 1/2 to 5 cups chicken broth and omit herbs and salt.
