| Directions | Combine flour, sugar and salt; mix well. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Toss apples with water and lemon juice. Spoon into lightly greased 8-inch square baking dish. Sprinkle flour mixture over apples. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35 minutes. Top with cheese. Bake an additional 5 minutes. Yield: 8 servings. |
