| Directions | Drain yams thoroughly. In large skillet, melt butter; add remaining ingredients. Briskly simmer, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Add yams; cover and cook over low heat about 20 minutes. Baste several times to glaze yams well. Pour any remaining glaze over yams and serve hot. Yield: 4 servings. |
